Supported living for Adults
Our Supported Living services are designed to help individuals live independently and manage their tenancies, with personalized support based on their needs and goals. We promote choice and independence, supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, dementia, post-hospital discharge, and other complex care needs. Our service provides a calming, therapeutic environment for adults with learning difficulties and works closely with individuals transitioning from secure units into the community.

Activity-Based Care
What is Activity-Based Care?
At FFM Compcare Limited, we incorporate an Activity-Based Care (ABC) healthcare delivery model under our social inclusion services. This model emphasizes preventive care, client engagement, and health promotion. The core idea is that by keeping individuals active and engaged in various activities, they are more likely to maintain their health and avoid costly medical interventions.
Benefits of Activity-Based Care
There is a growing body of evidence supporting the positive impact of Activity-Based Care on the health and well-being of adults. Our approach focuses on promoting and supporting physical activity and social engagement. We engage individuals in their own health and wellness through education, counseling, and community support. The potential benefits of Activity-Based Care include:
Improved Physical Health: Regular physical activity can reduce the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, stroke, type II diabetes, and certain cancers. It also enhances mental health, sleep quality, and overall quality of life.
Improved Cognitive Health: Participation in social and mentally stimulating activities can help reduce the risk of cognitive decline and dementia.
Increased Independence and Quality of Life: Individuals who are physically active and socially engaged are more likely to maintain their independence and enjoy a higher quality of life.
Reduced Hospitalizations and Emergency Room Visits: Regular physical activity can lead to fewer hospitalizations and emergency room visits.
